PCHS teams state bound The Peach County High School Trojan Boys Cross Country Team made school history by winning 1st Place 2AAA Region Champion ship, the first in the school’s history. There were two runners that did an excep tional job. Darrell White 2nd - place and James Worsham- 3rd place. Others were Daniel Echeverrin - 7th place, KaShawn Burke - 12th place, Juan Martinez - 18th place. Alternates were Chayan Galan - 26th place, and Myleik Smith - 29th place. The Lady Trojans Cross Country Girls Team placed 2nd in 2AAA Region. Claire Story - 7th place, Alaze Stephens- 10th place, D’asia Hillsman- 15th place, Courtney Small - 16th place, and Rosalinda Ros- tus- 18th place. Alternate, Kianna Huston - 20th place. Both teams will advance to State Meet on Saturday, November 9,2013. Academic teams attend GC Bowl Gordon State CoCCe 2013 Academic Contest 'Peach Count \j Jfigh School' On October 22,2013, the Peach County High School Academic Team attended the Gordon College Bowl. Nine students were required to take a 40 to 50 question college-grade test in under an hour. One student sang an Italian Latin music piece. The students attended a college class and received two Third Place Awards, one in Math and one in Science that were given dur ing an Honor’s Program. The Math Division Team members were: Rachel Burns, Tyler Messer, and CJ Hayes; and the Science Division Team members were: Evan Farrow, Caleb Carter, and Cameron Furmage. The Academic Team consists of Cameron Furmage, Caleb Carter, Evan Farrow, Rachel Burns, Tyler Messer, Shelby Garrett, Lucas Gray, CJ Hayes, Wayne Rhoden, and Zack Babcock, under the advisement of Mr. Jeffrey West.
