The Middle Georgia Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging, in partnership with Fort Valley State University’s Cooperative Extensive Service, is offering assistance to Medicare recipients who wish to review their current health and prescription coverage. Medicare Open Enrollment begins on October 15 and ends on December 7, 2013. All beneficia ries are encouraged to review their prescription drug coverage and Medicare supplement plans to see what changes in costs, coverage, and benefits will take effect in 2014. Open enrollment events will be held at 175 Emery Highway, Macon, in the parking lot of the Bibb County Health Department complex, which also houses the Middle Georgia Regional Commission/Area Agency on Aging.
