Many schools were in attendance for the event which included Ath ens Christian, Social Circle, George Walton, GMC and others. Crawford County Middle School wrestlers placed 2nd overall as a team, coming up just short of first place team from Social Cir cle. On this day Crawford County had several overall m mm m fait) m m Many unique items for the football fanatic! winners as well as many that placed high in the tourna ment. The placers and the winners on the day were Ka- leb Gregory took 4th place and Chase McCarthy took home a 3rd place medal. They were several 2nd place finishers and the list would include Luke Hill, Jared Bryant, Isiah McDaniel, Preston, McKelvey, Bran don Donaldson and Bryce Vaughn. The big winners on the day with 1st place med als were Jamorris Pickard, Tristan Prater, Matthew Barrajas and Quinn Pena- mon. This was the opening meet of the year and it’s hoped that it will lead to a suc cessful year for the Middle School wrestling program. The next match will take place at home on November 15 against Upson-Lee Mid dle and GMC out of Milled geville.
