CCREA November meeting Principal Paris Raines, third grade teachers - Donna Spillers and Marie Massie along with several students holding dictionaries presented to them from Delta Kappa Gam ma/Alfa-Lambda Chapter, with the assistance of CCREA. Crawford County Retired Educators met on Novem ber 14th, for their regu lar monthly meeting. Kay Kicklighter introduced guest speaker, Kearston Ar nold. Mrs. Arnold, a teach er at Crawford County Ele mentary School, described the children’s summer pro gram that she developed and implemented. Libby Scarborogh was chosen as November Teach of the Month. For the last nine years, Delta Kappa Gamma - Al pha Lambda Chapter, with the assistance of Crawford County Retired Educators, has sponsored The Dictio nary Project in Crawford County. Paperback dictio naries are given to all 3rd graders at Crawford Coun ty Elementary School. The dictionaries are kept at school to be used mainly for learning dictionary skills. At the end of the school year, students may take them home for use there. Afterward, the members visited with CCREA homebound members. Water Rate Fee Schedule The Crawford County Board of Commissioners is proposing an amendment to the County's water ordinance. The proposed change would increase the deposit fee charged fo a renter from $100.00 to $150.00.
