The Brunswick Times of Thurs-
aj had tlio following:
“The sensation in local railroad cir-
sles yesterday was the report that
Superintendent George w. Haines,
of tile Brunswick and Western rail
road, is to leavo Brunswick and go
to Waycross, where lie will retain his
present position and will also ho
made superintendent of the Way-
roes Short Line between Wnycross
Jacksonville.
The report seemed to come from
;ood authority, and it is said that the
change was planned by the officers
of the Plant svstom when they met
here Wednesday.
“It is said that the general offices
will bo moved from this oity to Way-
cross, nnd also the shops, and the
business of the Brunswick and Wes
tern and the Short Lino will bo ban
died by the same men.
“A Times man called on three offi
cials of the Brunswick and Western,
and they refused to give out any in
formation respecting the report.
“So it stands noithor confirmed nor
denied. ‘' IcfS y v
