and is having some good work done
on the machinery.
The wedding that was to take
place in our city this month iias
been postponed for some good
reason. But we won't tail.
The war is over nud some of our
young men are Oil-home.
A Mr. Payne lias bought a lot of
land near here and will build in the
near future. >Ye welcome him in
our midst.
Mr. Cooper, our master mechanic,
has got the machinery in exeeleut
condition since lie came here. Me is
a line mechanic and has taken tiie
kinks out of the engines where
others have failed.
We are expecting Mr. G V dress,
of New York, every day.
The night passenger * o train killed
three or four cows near the depot

few days, under the management of
A B Russell himself. This mill was

operation and now that it is again to
resume operations is good news to
