STOINE MOUNTAIN SCULPTOR :
RETURNS FOR DEDICATION
Atlanta, May 12.--Cutzon Borglum,
the noted sculptor who will carve the
great Confederate memorial on the
gside of stone mountain, returned to‘
Atlanta Wednesday {from a short trip
east, and immediately conferred with
Sam Venerable and Forrest Adair con
cerning the program for the dedica
tion exercises to be held at Stone
mountain on the afternoon of Satur
day, May 20.
Mr. Adair, who is master of cere
monies for the dedication, has received
from N. H. Ballard, grand master of
the Masons of Georgia, an acecptance
of an invitation to lay the corner post,
and this feature of the program will
be marked by the full Masonic cere
mony. Grand Master Ballard has writ
ten Thomas H. Jeffries, ordinary of
Fulton county and past grand master,
requesting him to look after the details
of assembling the officers of the grand
lodge and to make other arrangements
for the Masonic feature of the pro
gram. : |
General A. J. West and Mr. Borglum
will attend the annual reunion of the
United Confederate Veterans in Bir
mingham next week, and will arrange
for 2,000 or more veterans, on their
return journey home, to stop over in
Atlanta and attend the dedication of
the great memorial. ,
BUTTER FAT PER CENTAGE
LOWERED ON ICE CREAM
Atlanta, May 12.—Ice cream hereaf.
tre sold in Georgia must contain not
less than 8 per cent of butter fat. The
state’'s former standard has been 1f
per cent, but lately a number of oth([
southern states have made reductions
in their stanards on the idea that 12
per cent butter fat was more than ice
cream dealers could put in their pro
duct with any profit. J. D. Price, Geor
gia commissioner of agriculture, would
not consent to placing the standard
as low as some of the states, but fixed
on 8 per cent as a fair medium.
GEORGIA’S GREAT STRIDES
IN INDUSTRIAL GROWTH
Atlanta, Ga., May 12— Georgia’s in
dustrial growth is strikingly shown in
a preliminary report of the National
Department of Commerce, just made
public. The report is on a census
showing the status of the state manu
facturers in 1914 as compared with
1909. 1t appears, for example, that
during the period under review the
amount of capital invested increased
fifty-six million dollars, or more than
twenty-seven per cent. The value of
the aggregate out-put of the plants in
creased fifty million, four hundred and
{ifty-seven thousand dolars, or nearly
twenty-five per cent. Since this cen
sus was taken, Georgia’s manufactur
ers have materially increased.

To look one’s best and feel one’s Besti
is to. enjoy an insidedath -each morning|
to flush from the system the previous
day’s waste, sour fermentations and poi
sonous toxins before it is absorbed into
the blood. Just as coal, when it burns,
leaves behind a certain amount of in
combustible material in the form of
ashes, so the food and drink taken "each‘
day leave in the alimentary organs a
certain amount of in'digééfill)—{é ‘material,!
which if not eliminated, form toxins and
poisons which are then sucked into the
blood through the \'er{ ducts which are
intended to suck in only. nourishment to,
sustain the body. n
If you want to see the glow of healthy
bloom in your cheeks, to see your skin
get clearer and clearer, you are told to
drink every morning upon arising, a
elass of hot water with a téaspoonful
of limestone phosphate in it, which is a
harmless means of washing the waste
material and toxins from the stomaeh,
tiver;kidneys and bowels, thus cleans
ing, sweetening and purifying the entire
alimentary tract, before putting more
food into the stomach. :
. Girls and women with sallow skins,
liver spots, pimples or pallid complex
don, also those who wake up with a
coated tongue, bad taste, nasty breath,
others who are bothered with headaches,
‘bilious spells, acid stomach or consti
ition should begin this phosphated g;
'water drinking and are assured of very
pronounced results in one or two weeks.
A quarter pound of limestone phos
'phate costs very-little at the drug store
but is sufficient to demonstrate that just
as soap and hot water cleanses, purifies
and freshens the skin on the outside, so
‘hot water and limestone phosphate act
on the inside organs. We must always
consider that internal sanitation i§ vast
ly miore important than outside cleanli
ness, because the skin peres do not ab

bowel pores do. ,
