Ala. — driving with out a valid license; holding or supporting a wireless telecommunications device while driving; and wind shield/window/wiper viola tion. •Michael Lawrence John son. 34, 640 North Church St., Charlotte. N.C. — driv ing on roadways laned for traffic and DUI-drugs. An off-duty deputy from another county recently re ported an accidental firearm discharge inside his Pender grass residence. The incident was reported to the Pendergrass Police De partment on Feb. 5 at an apart ment neighborhood on Glenn Gee Rd. The deputy said he was taking his hoodie off when part of his sleeve caught in the trigger well of his duty weap on, causing it to discharge one A man was recently arrest ed in Commerce after show ing up at an ex-girlfriend’s house and attempting to get inside the home. The man was ultimately arrested after officers found him hiding in side the woman’s vehicle. Officers with the Com merce Police Department were called for the incident on Willoughby Homes on Feb. 12 shortly before 4 a.m. The woman’s boyfriend initially thought he heard someone knocking. The woman later looked out the window and saw her ex-boy friend knocking on the chil- Jefferson police were re cently called for a dispute between family members that reportedly resulted in a gun being pulled. The incident occurred on Ruddy Duck Dr. after two family members argued about a roll of tape. The man then reportedly argued with another family member and pointed a gun at her. According to the fam ily member, she pushed the handgun away and told him to stop. She then went to a neighbor’s house to call 911. The man was arrested on charges of reckless conduct. One per son was transported to North east Georgia Medical Center Braselton. •two-vehicle wreck with one injury on Sycamore St. One person had a wrist injury, but wasn’t transported. •driving while license is suspended on Hwy. 129 where a man was arrested during a traffic stop. •two-vehicle wreck with two injuries on Hwy. 129. Broad St. where a woman was arrested during a traffic stop. •warrant executed and theft by shoplifting on Hwy. 334 where a woman was arrested for a warrant after reportedly shoplifting a pack of sausages from a store. She was also given a criminal trespass warning from the store. •warrant executed on Hwy. was arrested after a wreck. He was treated at NGMC Bra selton and was later detained in Barrow County. •two-vehicle wreck with one injury on the 1-85 ramp. One person was treated at the hospital, but had left before officers arrived. •information report on Syc amore St. where a woman reported a runaway juvenile was dropped off at a Jefferson location. •driving under the influence (DUI)-under 21 years old on E. Public Square where a man was arrested during a traffic stop. Officers smelled alco hol on him and he admitted to drinking. He was arrested after declining to take any sobriety tests. Officers found open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. •possession of marijuana on Hwy. 129 where a man was cited during a traffic stop. Officers smelled marijuana in the vehicle and the driver turned over the substance. •information report on Creek Side Ct. where a man reported someone rolled his house with toilet paper. •two-vehicle wreck with one injury on Sycamore St. One person planned to go to the hospital for neck pain. call about a suspicious person. •information on Darling Ln. where a man was taken to the hospital after taking pills and making comments about wanting to kill himself. •lost license on Glenn Gee Rd. •recovered property on Logistics Ln. where a stolen trailer was recovered. •damaged property on Vil lage Pkwy. where a vehicle door was damaged by another car door. 441 where a woman was ar rested for a warrant during a traffic stop. •domestic dispute on Ridgeway Rd. where a man became upset during an ap parent mental health episode. When they returned the comics, they were not the ones he had sold them. •wanted person located on Damon Gause Bypass where a man was arrested during a traffic stop. •information report on Old Pendergrass Dr. where a woman said someone called her claiming to work for the Jackson County Sher iff’s Office. They reportedly asked that she pay a fine for an alleged bench warrant. The woman paid the money, but when she tried to call the number back, it had been dis connected. •suspicious person on Ath ens St. where a woman re ported a suspicious man in her driveway. •miscellaneous report on Concord Rd. where a woman reported missing medication.
