The facility is located at 585 Jarrett Road, Nicholson, Geor gia. The main purpose of this permit amendment is to renew the Acid Rain Permit, which will neither increase nor de crease pollutant emissions. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has prepared this Title V Operat ing Permit Amendment in ac cordance with Title V of the Clean Air Act. This permit amendment will be enforce able by the Georgia EPD, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and other persons as otherwise authorized by law. Any information received during a public hear ing will be considered by the Division along with all other in formation received during the comment period when mak ing its final decision to issue the Title V permit amendment. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Division will only conduct public hearings in “virtual” format using Zoom meeting applications. Following this 30 day pub lic comment period, the EPD will consider all comments, make any necessary chang es, and issue a proposed permit amendment to U.S. EPA. The proposed permit amendment will then undergo a 45 day review by U.S. EPA in accordance with 40 CFR 70.8. Information pertaining to U.S. EPA’s review period can be found on their website at https://www.epa.gov/caa-per- mitting/georgia-proposed-title- v-permits. After the EPA review period has expired, the EPD will issue a final Part 70 Operating Per mit Amendment incorporating any changes required by U.S. EPA.
