Week of April 16-22 Tracy Lynn Kellum COMMERCE — Tracy Lynn Kellum, 61, Com merce, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, after a brief illness. She was of the Chris tian faith and lived the majority of her life in Winder with her parents, Bo and Ruth Kellum. Tracy was a fighter from an early age and survived a brain injury at age six. Doctors told her parents they were sending her home from surgery in Maryland to spend their last days with her. That was 55 years ago. As a young teen, Tracy was a proud Georgia representative for Easter Seals. She loved reading and being read to. Tracy also loved looking at family photos, singing country music, the Georgia Bulldogs and just having a plain old good time. She is preceded by her parents, Bo and Ruth Town- ley Kellum; and a brother, Jackie Kellum. Surviving are her brother, Todd Kellum (Marsha), Jefferson; sisters, Laurie Turner (Harold), Douglas- ville, and Elaine Spear (Woody), Auburn; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Lumley retired as the shop foreman for Checker Cab with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Bear Creek Baptist Church where he loved the church and his church family dearly. Kenneth will be best remembered as a loving husband, fa ther, brother and grand father. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Mr. Lumley was preceded in death by his son, Shaun Kenneth Lumley; parents, Grover and Arizo na Flagler Lumley; and siblings, Caroline King, Syb il Crane, Bill Lumley, Margaret Turner and Norma Peppers. Mr. Lumley is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Rita Casper Lumley; children, Diane (Eric) Rohrer, Sandy Delore, Heather Young, Carlie (Tif fany) Lumley, Ryan Carithers and Brandy (Nathan) Johnson; brother, James Lumley; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren also survive. Week of April 16-22 Barbara “Bobbie” Maynard HOSCHTON — Barbara “Bobbie” Maynard, 77, Hoschton, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Barbara was bom in Miami, Florida, daughter to Richard Hawkins and Geraldine Roberts Shaw of Miami, Florida. She met and married the love of her life Roger May nard and for 58 years to gether they created a leg acy of loving, giving and devotion to their family and friends. Barbara was a sister to Donna Lou Wall Burton; devoted mother to LeaAnne Cavanaugh (Lee Cava naugh), Hoschton, and Terri Lynn Garmon (Nelson Garmon), Loganville; grandmother to Taylor Mann (Kimber Mann), Maysville, Sydney Millians (Ryan Millians), Monroe, and Cooper Mann, Hoschton; great-grandmother to HarperLynn Millians, Emery Taylor Mann and Turner Shaw Mann; and a host of other family. She never met a stranger and was kind to everyone she knew. She was a licensed real estate agent and insurance agent and volunteered at the Braselton Li brary. In her younger years she was an active member of the DAR and coordinated and attended the annu al debutante ball. She was in a quilting and needlers club group for over 25 years, was a past board mem ber of the Whitaker Downs HOA, was an Episcopa lian her entire life and was devoted to the Lord at St. Stephen Episcopal Church in Coconut Grove, Flori da, where she was baptized, confirmed and served as an acolyte, and then at St. Mary and Martha Episco pal Church in Buford, where she served on the Altar Guild. Barbara was a loving, caring, devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Muiphy was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
