TETTEU rs CKLEIiI!ATIID STOMACH 15111-
Tl,its can appeal with perfect eonfidence to
physicians awl citizena peneraliy of the Uniied
S ates, because the article has attained a repu
tation heretofore unknown. A few facts upon
this point will speak more powerful';- rtiau
volumes of bare assertion or hi ,zoning puffery.
Tlic consumption of Hostetler’s Stomach bit
ters for the last year amounted to over a ltalf
million bottles, and from its manifest steady
increase in times past, it is evident that utiring
the coming year the consumption will reach
near one million bottles. This immense t, mount
could never have been sold but for the rare
medicinal properties contained in the prepara
tion, and the sanction of the most prominent
physicians in tliosu sections of the country
where the article is best known, who not only
recommend the bitters to their patient*, ln.
are ready at all times togivc testimonials to iis
efficacy in all cases of stomachic derangements
and the diseases resulting thevelroio.
This is not a temporary popularity, obtained
by extraordinary efforts in the way of Dun. -
poling the qualities of the Hitlers, but a soli I
estimation of an invaluable lmdieino. which i
destined to be as enduring as time itself.
Hostetler's Stomach Hitters have proved
a Godsend to regions where fever and age.
and various other bilious comph.iuiH l,nv >
counted their victims by hundred:,. To be
able to state contijonlly that the “Bitters”
are a certain cure for the Dyspepsia mid like
diseases, is to the proprietors a source of un
alloyed pleasure. It removes all morbid loaltur
from toe stonmeli, purifies the blood, and
imparls roue wed vitality to the nervous sysleti
g viug it that tone and energy indispen nble
for the restoration of health. It operates upon
thesiomaeh, liver, and other digestive organs,
mild y but powerfully, and soon restores them
toaconditiou essential to the healthy disebargs
of the functions of nature.
Elderly persons may use the Biller* doily ns
per directions on the bottle, and they will find
in it astimubiul peculiarly adapted to conduit
declining years, as it is pleasant to the palate,
invigorating to the bowels, excellent as a lonic,
and rejuvenating generally. We have the evi
dence of thousands of aged men and women
who have experienced the benefit of using this
preparation w hile suffering from stomach de
raitgem’ nts and general debility; acting under
the advice of physicians, they lmve abandoned
all deleterious drugs and fairly tested the
merits of this article. A few words to fl>
gentler sex. There are certain periods when
their cares arc so imriissiltg that many of the!:,
sink under the trial. ‘The relation of mother
and child is so absorbingly lender, that tbs
mother, especially if ‘he be young, is apt to
forget her own health ill her extreme anxiety
for her infant. Should the period of maternity
arrive during the summer season, tiio wear of
body and mind is generally aggravated. Here,
then, is a necessity for a stimulant to recupe
rate the energies of tlie system, and enable the
mother to bear tip under her exhausting Dials
and responsibilities. Nursing mothers gene
rally prefer the Bitters to all other invigora
tors that receive the endorsement of phy i
cinns,"because it is agreeable to the taste
well as’ certain to give a permanent in. n aso
es bodi'y strength. 9
All those pet sons, to whom we bare particu
larly referred above, to wit: sufferers from
.fever and ague, caused by malaria, diarrhoea,
dysentery, indigestion, loss of appetite, and
nil diseases or derangements of the stomach,
euperanmialcd invalids, persona of sedentary
occupation, and nursing mothers, will commit
their own physical welfare l y giving to Hos
tetler’s Celebrated Stomach Bitters a irii.l.
