place from the union depot at 10

The hose wagon of Stonewall Fire
Company is being repainted and over
hauled, and when it comes out of the
shop will be as good as when it left
the factory.
Mr. J. P. Sawtell is quite ill at bis
home on South street. He is
suffering from a very severe bilious
attack, but hopes are entertained that
he wilt soon be up again

Mrs E H. Davie, of Eatonton, who
is spending some time with Capt. and

down this morning and spent the day
with Miss Abbie Westbrook in this

The remains of Dr. Frank H,
Bloodworth were, brought up from
Savannah this morning and interred
in the Citizens cemetery at 10 o’clock.
A large number of friends attended
the funeral.

Milner, March 2!)—Eitc LeSuer, of
this place, and Miss Florrie Haygood, of
Goggansville, were married on last Sun
day afternoon at four o’clock, at the
bride's residence. The wedding was wit
nessed by a number of relatives of both
the contracting paitie:. Miss Haygood

The many friends of little Neal Fergu
son, will regret to learn that he will be
unable to enjoy Easter with his school
mates. In playing this week he broke his
arm to such an extent as to be confined
to his room for several days.

prison farm, some three mile.) out
from this city, seem to be in the storm
track, as a wind storm passed near
he’e about 'hree weeks ago, blowing
down a part of the building then un
der construction, which had beet: re
buiit when the wind yesterday again
blew part of the building over on one
side, which will detain the completion
of the building for several weeks, F ir
tuuately no one was in that part of
the building blown down.
