The preliminary trial of Will Beck?,
colored, was held before Justice Cars

“Miss Barker’s Sunday school class in

Owl Hollow, April 4—lt is about
time for the owls to begin to hollow, so
here goes.
Prof. J. 11. Morris attended the singing
at Semper Saturday night.
Mrs. Troy Wise spent last Monday in
Griffin.
Prof. J.II. Morris went to Griffin last
Saturday.
Mr. John Lindsay and son, Frank, went
to Griffin Saturday,
A certain young lady couldn’t go to see
“Rip Van Winkle” last Tuesday night,
although she had “papa’s” consent.
A-good many from this community at
tended the singing at Semper Saturday
night.
Lon Beckham was here Sunday visiting

Some one didn’t get “left” after all,
about going to the singing.
Otis Grubbs called on Miss Bessie
