A Phenomenal Orator-
We have beard Henry Grady, and
some of us are familiar with John
Tern) le Graves as an orator; but if Joe
Camp did not show himself the sups*
rior, he demonstrated that be was the
equal of either. He must, be classed,
wherever he is heard, among the few
phenomenal orators of Georgia —Ea
tonton Messenger.
Professor Camp will deliver his |
beautiful lecture “Truth and Shams,” |
at the Olympic theatre next Monday ■
night, and will doubtless be greeted j
by a large audience. He comes to i
our city under auspices of the Eu«
phradian Society of the Chiis M. Neel \

Deafness Cannot he Cured
by l >cal applications as they cannot reach
the diseased portion of the ear. There is
only one way to cure deafness, and that is
■by constitutional remedies. Deafness is
j caused by an inflamed condition (if the
! mucous lining of the Eustachian Tube.
I When this tube is inflamed you have a
i rumbling sound or imperfect hearing, and
; when it is entirely closed, deafness is
the result, and unless the inflammation
I can be taken out and this tube restored to
its normal condition, hearing will be de
stroyed forever; nine cases out of ten arc
caused by Catarrh, which is nothing but
an inflamed condition of the mucous sur
faces.
We will give One Hundred Dollars for
any ca-e of Deafness (caused by catarrh)
thit cannot be cured by Hall’s Catarrh
Cure. Send for circulars; free.

Pennsylvania—State treasurer, two '

Virginia—Secretary of the common
wealth, treasurer and minor State offi

While these elections occur in only
one quarter of the states, they are so
scattered as to afford a fair test of pub
lie opinion in nearly every quarter of
the Union.
The campaigns in Ohio and Nebrag
; ka are likely to attract the most atten
tion, as the former is the home of
President McKinley and the latter ol
Mr. Bryan. There are indications of
a hot contest in both states. The dem
ocrats take some hope from the repub
lican dissensions in Ohio, and from
recent elections in Cleveland and To
ledo. The republicans and democratic
opponents of Mr. Bryan will try to in
jure his prestige by defeating him at
■ borne.
At the last election seven of the
■ states voting this year were carried by
I the republicans and four by the demo-
I crats. — Valdosta Times.

HOW TO FIND OUT.
Fill a bottle or common glass with your

a se ament or settling indicates an unheal
