T he exhibit, which is presented >'.v the Atlanta branch of the Ford Motor company in conjunction with she local Ford dealers, occupies a prominent space and is amply Large tor a full showing of the new Fords. The hgiher radiator, which is L now standard throughout the whole f I,ord line, has brought a decided improvement to all the Ford types effecting better appearance and more stream-line effect. Natural ly, the cooling cfficcncy has been increased as the result of the hug er radiation surface. Another noticeable feature in the appearance of the new Fords is the rpron at the base of the radiatoi, which connects with (the fenders and gives a highly finishing touch to the front of the cars. The four-door sedan is of espe cial appeal to those seeking a roomy car for family use and one whicl affords full protection from the elements druing the fall and winter season. The sedan is much im proved in appearance since the in troduction of the new radiator ans. its popularity is constantyl on the increase. The Ford coupe is another eu- type which is winning en thusiastic comments from every one. It is entirely new in design. The body lines are much improved and windshield visior and cowl ven tilator give the interior added •touches of completeness. The seating arrangement is im proved, affording more riding com fort. The cushion is divided sj that it is unnecessary for the driver to leave his place while the gasoline tank underneath the seat is being filled. The doors are wide and open forward making access and exit easy. Doors are equip ped with revoking type window regulators and also with locks. Up holstcry is in choice materials. The touring car is lower in ap pearance and changes resulting from the larger cowl and hood have effected more leg space for occu pants- of the front seat. The new type ruhabout is trim and sturdy in appearance. Close inspection of the new Fords reveals many little refine ments contributing to greater rid ing comfort and convenience of fc owners and the finish on all the cars *is decidedly improved, giving them a high quality aspect. Ford trucks and light cars are included in the exhibit and attract the attention of business men who plan to bring greater efficiencv and economy to their delivery ser vice. TERRELL FARMERS MAKES GOOD CROP DAWSON, October 4. The county don’t realize how well they came out this year, said Mr. C. M. Harris, w’ho has returned to the city after a two weeks’ trip down in the southern part of the state. There are some counties that won’t make enough cotton to pay their taxes, and Terrell county will make as much as Baker, Seminole, Miller and Grady counties combined. But in spite of a complete cotton fail ure, Mr. Harris states, a spirit of optimism prhvails. One farmer who owed a large guano account paid for it out of crossties.
