S. than Lee.'’ Affirmative, Mildred Wellons and Morgan Dukes, Nega tive, Laura Pilcher, and Horace Barnes. The decision was rendered in favor of the affirmative. After the program, the P. T. A. held their regular meeting. One new member was added. The P. T. A. is doing splendid work. It has been largely through their influence ,and work that the women and girls Domestic Science kitchen is being equipped which will be of much use to them during the summer. At the meeting Fri day afternoon, the ladies of the community donated several utensils that will not have to be bought. I The club girls are expecting Miss I Parkman next Tuesday at 10 A. M. Little Thelma .Johnston is critic ally ill with pneumonia. .Mrs. Frank Freeman after spend ing several weeks with her parents has returned to he home near Plains Elizabeth, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Moore has a very severe attack of pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Wilson ami children have returned to their home, after an extended visit to Madison, N. C. Homer Still and Misses Ruth Still and Hazel Bridges attended the program given at the Ryland, r theater Sunday afternoon.
