FREAK ROSE GROWTH

’ BRI’NSWICK, Jan. 29. -Mana
ger Moritz Baumgartner, of the
Brunswick Floral Company, was
exhibiting today a curiosity in the
rose family. Branching from one
stem were a perfectly formed white
and pink Killarney rose, specimens
as beautiful as could he grown. Mr.
Baumgartner stated that one large
rose grew on the center stem, half
which was pink and the other white.
Later the two rose buds appear? 1
on the oth< r two stems, display
ing their different colors. No. ex

nature.
