EXPECT TO FINISH ORGANIZATION SOON ATLANTA, Ga., March B.—Or ganization of the new regiment for the Georgia national guard, to be known as the Two-hundreth Infan try; is expected to be completed within the near future, according to officers in charge of recruiting. Six companies of the new regi ment have already been mustered into service. They are the head quarters company of the First Bat talion, and companies A. B. C. D. and E. line companies of the First Battalion. LESLIE J. T. Bolton was called to Oconee last Saturday on account of the se rious illness of His brother, Edgar Bolton, who has “flu” when last heard from Mr. Bolton was improv ing and it is expected that he will get well. Union High school after being closed for a few days on account of measles opened up again Monday morning with a number of the children being out on account of being sick from measles. Mrs. J. J. Sloan went to Plains Tuseday where she will spend twe weeks at the Wise ISanitorium for treatment. Mrs. Brit Davis and two sons of Columbus visited the, home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Sumerford and Mrs Nona Stewart last week. Mrs. Quinnie Jones returned to her home here Wednesday aftei spending a couple of weeks at Plains. Mrs. Guy Tribble of Forsyth is spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Sumerford. Mr. Roy Wade of Macon spent some time here this week with Mrs| Sallie Wade.
