Underwood carried Schley county by a safe majority, polling 313 votes which the managers elect ed at an early hour this morning. County candidates who won, with the vote received by each are as fol lows: For Ordinary.—C. R. Tondee, 478. m For Sheriff—R. E. Battle, 284, M Eheriff Battle was opposed by " Leroy Carter and J. M. Strong. For Clerk Superior Court.—C. D. Carter. For Tax Collector—E. H. Mor rison, 331.—Mr. Morrison was op posed by J. R. Wall. For Tax Receiver—J. H. Hollo way, 295. Mr. Holloway was op posed by C. W. Snider. For Treasurer—V. H. Tondee, 245. Mr. Tondee was opposed by J. S. Moulton, W. T. Poole and U H. Rigsby. For County school superintendent J* L. Duncan, 300. Mr. Duncan was opposed Iby Mrs. E. R. Jordan and J. T. Royal. For Commissioners of Roads and Revenues—S. M. Ethridge, 448; J. J. Holloway, 425; C. C. Jordan, 315 A. C. Murray 375 and J. S. Wo mack, 451. In this race the defeat. ' d candidates were E. R. Hart and J. B. Williamson. For Coroner—J. M. Ellis, 275. In this race Mr. Ellis was opposed by T. J. Livingston. For surveyor—S. B. Halstead, 478. , TIFT COUNTY TO LOSE COUNTY MARKET AGENT TIFTON, March 20.—Tift coun ty isn’t to have a marketing agent this year.
