Winninger’s work in “The Good Old Days,” a recent success in New York City, has fitted him well for the role of Louie, the barber, in this picture. Mr. Cameron plays the village photographer and you’ll die laugh ing when he has an entire group “watching the birdie” and ready to be shot and then has to tell one of the men to stop posing with his thumbs in the armholes of his vest. And this is but one of the many’ comedy scenes in “Pied Piper.” The inimitable pair keep right at their fun-making throughout its entire length, relieving the tenseness of the highly dramatic acting of the principal players. * Lois Wilson heads the support ing cast which includes George Fawcett, Cyril Ring and Joe Burke, i Owing to the smaller rooms now adays, large pictures are proving unsaleable.
