No matter how strong the individual, he becomes more powerful with team co-operation—team work. Farmers and Business men of Southwest Georgia must co-operate completely in the fight being made to beat the Weevil. We urge you, therefore, to do your full part with dogged determination to return prosperity to our section this fall. Calcium >• Arsenate Poison applied by the DeLoach Method will surely win this fight. We cannot prosper in South Georgia under a one-crop system, but neither can we prosper if, when we plant cotton along with other crops, we permit the boll weevil to destroy it. - ..r •- »•*■,■■ -. **■ r| •«» Cotton is still our most valuable money crop —but valuable only as long as we prove that we are smarter than a little bug with a long snout that will destroy every cotton boll we are foolish enough to let it destroy. 4 v< , » w i “Plow and Poison; Poison and Plow” —that combination will beat the weevil.
