Seveal of the coun ties in South Georgia have turned large acreages into tobacco. It was stated by experts at the Georgia Department of Agriculture that the farmers are using more and better fertilizer this year than last, and that more calcium arsenate is also being used. Agricultural development agents, it was stated here today are push ing the campaign against the boll weevils which are expected to ap pear this season in ag large, if not larger, numbers than during last season.
