Mothers, what would you give to feel easy when your little one begins to show signs of bilousness? . It is customary to think that you ought to use calomel and castor oil, but you dread giving these doses as much as the child fears to take them. And still, you dread what may happen if you use just the ordinary children’s laxative. It was to meet this very situation that I invented Liv-o-lax, and if you try it once, you won’t think of using calomel again. Liv-o-lax cleanses liver and bowels, too, and still it is a pleasant - tasting liquid, entirely vegetable, which causes no distress, serves equally well in colds, constipation and indigestion and is just as good for adults as it is for the child ren —who really love to take it. Your hair is your charm. It makes or mars the face. When it fades, turns gray or streaked, just an application or two of Sage and Sul phur enhances its appearance a hun dredfold. Don’t bother to prepare the mixture; you can get this famous old recipe im proved by the addition of other ingre dients at a small cost, all ready for use. It is called Wyeth’s Sage and Sulphur Compound. This can always be de pended upon to bring back the natural color and lustre of your hair. Everybody uses "Wyeth’s” Sage and Sulphur Compound now because it darkens so naturally and evenly that nobody can tell it has been applied. You simply dampen a sponge or soft brush with it and draw this through the hair, taking one small strand at a time; by morning the gray hair has disappeared, and after another applica tion it becomes beautifully dark and appears glossy and lustrous. Drugs Excite « the Kidneys, Drink Water Take Salts at First Sign of Bladder Irritation or Backache The American men and women must guard constantly against kidney trouble because we often eat too much rich food. Our blood is filled with acids which the kidneys strive to filter out; they weaken from overwork, become sluggish, the eliminative tissues clog and the result is kidney trouble, bladder weakness and a general decline in health. When your kidneys feel like lumps of lead; your back hurts or the urine is cloudy, full of sediment, or you are obliged to seek relief two or three times during the night; if you suffer with sick headache, or dizzy, nervous -spells, acid stomach, or if yon have rheumatism when the weather is bad, begin drink ing lots of good soft water and get from your pharmacist about four ounces of Jad Salts. Take a tablespoonful in a ?;lass of water before breakfast for a ew days and your kidneys may then act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, com bined with lithia, and has been used for years to help flush and stimulate clogged kidneys, to neutralize the acids in the system so they no longer are a source of irritation, thus often relieving blad der disorders. Jad Salts is inexpensive; can not •in jure, makes a delightful effervescent lithia-water drink and belongs in every home, because nobody can make a mis take grKX ’ kidney flushing W BvHffl means have yotir phy sician examine your kidneys at least twice a year, J-U-N-E B-R-l-D-E-S We have the most popular patterns in Sterling Silver Flat Ware.
