vival services which were begun by
Rev. B x L. Jordan, assisted by Rev.
Marry Allen ia week ago, are in-

| fervor. The large tent on
I court house square in which the
' services are held is filled each

750 people were present. Rev.

POLICEMAN FIRED FOR
BURNING FIERY CROSS
PHILADELPHIA, July 10.—
Hany Trout, an upper Darby po
liceman, has been dismissed form
the force after being identified as
one of ten hooded and robed men
who burned a cross in the woods
near there to terrorize a troup of
negro Boy Scouts in camp.
According to the police, Trout
confessed that he and his friends
wished to frighten away the ne
groes, who had driven white boys
away from a swimming hole near
their camp. Shots were fired in
the demonstration.
Warrants charging ten men with
inciting to riot and illegal use of
firearms will be issued, it is stated.
