F. Marberry, a pliysi cian. The shooting occurred when Steel visited the Marberry home May 31 last to collect, he explained, a debt of $35 which he said he had loaned to Frank Marberry, son of the physician. Steele entered a plea of Self-defense and asserted that the physician fired the first shot. The Commissioner of Internal Revenue only is au thorized to determine whether or not a corporation is liable for the payment of tax in cases where ex emption is claimed. If it is be lieved that you are entitled to ex emption and this fact has not been established, a return must be reg ularly filed and full information concerning the operation of your business submitted to establish your claim for exemption. “If you are an officer of any corporation and responsible for fil ing its tax returns and you have not yet filed them, believing thar. you do not need to file a Capital Stock return, my suggestion is that you consult with the Collector’s of fice or with some one else familiar witli Capital Stock Tax returns and determine whether or not your corporation should file a return.
