WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, JULY 8, 1925 AMERICUS TO PLAY CORDELE Bascbal Ifans of this and near by cities are m for a treat Thursday afternoon when at 3:30 the local aggregation locks horns with the Cordele nine. Both teams are in mid-season form and as college Hitchers will be used it is expected the scores on neither side will be large. Kinson 'Findley, University of Georgia ball tosser, will be on the mound for the locals. He pitched excellent ball this summer while al college and announces t hat be i in -- fine shape Io go nine innings strong. The Cordele team has not announc ed their twirler but it has leaked out that the yhave procured the best in that section.
