Charle: Hayes, of Jacksonville, Fla., p< r formed the impressive ceremony ii the presence of a large assemblage of friends and relatives. Miss Alice Long, a cousin of th bride, acted as bridesmaid and little Miss Juanita Kimbrough was flow : girl. Master William Lung was ring bearer, and Mr. Vernon Mims, of Ozark, brother of the groom w.u best man. Immediately after the weddin - Mr. and Mrs. Mims left for a wed ding journey to points in Alabama and Florida, for several weeks, latei going to Louisville, Ky., where they will reside in the future. Mrs. Mims, as Miss Long, was one of the most charming and popular young women of Leesburg and lias a host of friends in that community who regret that her marriage tak< her elsewhere to reside. MISS SPEER WEDS MR CHEEVES AT BEAUTIFUL HOME CEREMONY LESLIE, Aug. 21- -Cordially cen tering the interest of many’ friends, the wedding of Mis.- Lota Sneer to Mr. Chas Judson Checves of Mont ■ zuma, took place at the home of (he bride' sparents on Wednesday, .Aug. l!)th. at five o’clock, Rev. J. S. Winn officiating with the impressive ring ceremony. A color motif of pink and yellow was carried out in detail with love ly; summer flowers. The improvised altar, formed of floor baskets and wall baskets of croal vine and yel low dahlia, zinnias. candelabra, bearing pink candelabra; ami mas sive . pingeria ferns created an at tractive background for the wed ding. Entering first were Misses Ruth Ranew and Mary Wilson, of Lesli”, singing “Loves Old Sweet Song." Miss Ranew's gown was of yellow, beautifully ornamented with cut steel beads and seed pearls. Sir carried an arm bouquet of pink al ters. Miss Wilson also wore yel low and carried asters. They’ were accompanied by Miss Martha Sand ers of Bluffton, Ga._ who wore an attractive summer model of pink chiffon georgette. Her corsage was pink asters. At the first strains of the wedding march. Misses Ranew and Wilson tbok their places as bridesmaids and little Helen Sneer of Ochlochnee, .- miniature bride in pink, entered, carrying the ring in the heart of a liny bride’s bounuot. She was fol lowed by the bride and groom. The bride was radiant in a white georg ette ensemble with a bat fashioned of white velvet. She carried a showered bouquet of brides roses.
