PAGE TWO DEATH CLAIMS I ISAIAH WHITE Funeral Services for Aged Sum ter Resident Held This Afternoon Isaiah. F. White, 74 y •ar> <>f age, died Tuesday morning at .10:30 o’clock at his residence on the Ella ville road, after an illness of sev eral months. Mr. White was born in Mad,-on county at Danielsville, and was among the most prominent citizens of that community. fie moved to Sumter county about live years ago, and during his residence in this county had made many friend throughout this section. He was a prominent farmer of Sumter county and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. George White; three daughters, Mis. R. E. Glenn, Mrs. C. J. Meadow, and Miss Fannie Sue White;, four sons, S. I’., Paul, Charlie, anil I. F. White, Jr., who all reside on Ellaville road; two brothers, B. N. White and .1. B. White, of Danielsville. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the late resi dence at three o'clock, Rev. 11. H. Heisler, pastor of the Ellaville Methodist church, officiating. This Post also sent in one of the most complete historical records ami is a strong competitor for that lov ing cup, yet to be decided.
