The bank is open daily between the hours of 9 a. m. and 2 p. m. On Saturday the ballot box will remain at the bank until the closing hour when it will be brought to The Times-Recorder of fice and placed conveniently in the business office where it will be avail able for turn-ins until the stroke of 9 o’clock Saturday nigh* the hour for closing the compaign. Details of Final Count To insure fairness in the awarding of the prizes the race will be brought to a close under the sealed ballot box system and- will be under the per sonal supervision of two or more Judges selected form the Advisory Board. During the final days of the campaign, the box—locked and seal ed—will repose in the vaults of a local bank, where candidates and their friends will deposit their final collections and votes. And not until the race has been declared closed will the seals be broken, the bov un locked, and judges begin the final count. In this way no on“, not even the circulation sales campaign man ager or the publishers, can possibly know the final voting strength of the respective candidate, which pre cludes the possibility of favoritism and insures fairness to the minutest degree. If there is anything you do not understand, anything that is not clear to you, it is your business to seek out the campaign manager and secure the in formation. This will not be permitted the final nignt of the campaign. All votes and subscriptions must be in the sealed box when the race is clos ed at 9 o,clock sharp next Saturday night Oct. 31. You Must Be In Time Out-of-town candidate should where it is possible to do so arrange to deposite their envelopes in person at the bank, but where this cannot be done, letters containing final remit tances should be addressed to “CAMPAIGN DEPARTMENT,” The Times-Recorder, Americus, Georgia, and plainly marked: ‘“FOR SEALED BALLOT BOX, NOT TO BE OPEN ED.” Particular care should be taken to post such letters in good time to reach this office before the final hour and it is advisable that they should be under special devilery stamp. The burden of getting you turnins into the Box is in your own hands. One fact is certain—they must be in the box before the closing hour or they will not be counted. Regarding Personal Cseeks All remittences for subscriptions the final week must be in the form of cash, money order, bank draft or certified check for the full amount to cover.
