SATURDAY AFTERNOON. OCTOBER ■ es of beir." a witch. The chart, according to the old I parchment, wiM without fail reveal the future by answering questions of love. HERE IS THE METHOD This is the method prescribed: i The questioner must concentrate upon her, or his, question. In doing so, she must exclude every other' thought from her mind. While in ! this state, she must select a number from one to 20. The questioner i must concentrate on the question, * and not on the number. Iff fact, the , number must come from the subcon-1 scious mind. Then by following the line from the number on the chart,’ she will find the answer to the question. The letters along the line spell out a phrase that carries the import of the answer might be cab alistic, the meaning may be hidden, and that common sense is necessary, to apply it to the question. But, it ■ is asserted, the message will be true ' and accurate if the foregoing con ditions are adhered to, ana if the question is put after sundown on the last day of October. Prominent scientists have scoffed at the idea that the chart possessed any supernatural properties. Some think that the supposed witch de-' luded herself in believing in the chart, while others think it a hoax , perpetrated by the witch on simple : FOR SALE Underwood Standard Portable TYPEWRITER 1 This machine is good as new; has not been used.
