No cards. ♦ ♦ * BELL-REES WEDDING PRESTON, Ga., Oct. 30th A wedding of interest to the people throughout Stewart and Webster counties and in the state at large was that of Miss Rosa Bell and Col. Cleveland Rees, which was solemn ized at the home of the brides par ents in Preston this week, with D.', R. M. Lovvorn of Richland official ing. The bride is one of Preston's fair est young ladies and is esteemed by a large circle of friends[througnout the state. The groom is a prominent young attorney of Preston and also holds a very responsible position as Sup erintendent of the Schools of the County. Mr. and Mrs. Rees left immediate ly after the wedding for a bri< f trip to Brunswick and other points. They will be at home to friends in Pres ton after this week. MRS. MARSHALL ENTERTAINS WEDNESDAY BRIDGE CLUB Mrs. T. 0. Marshall was hostess on Friday morning to the Wednesday morning bridge club. There were three table's of players, and the home was lovely in it’s decorations of yel low cosmos and marigolds. Mrs. Cliff Williams won the high score prize, a deck of cards. Mrs. Marshall was assisted in en tertaining by Mrs. Glenn Hooks Mrs. James Ferguson, and Mrs. Charles Council. A delightful hot luncheon was served the guests. * * * MRS. M’KEE HONORS VISITOR Mrs. H. G. McKee was hostess at two tables of bridge on Friday at her home on Harrold Ave., honoring her guests, Mrs. Frank Sumner and Mrs. Carlton Kitchens, of Danville. The home was decorated in mari golds and cosmos with pretty Hal lowe’en favors on each table, to mark the place of each guest. Mrs. McKee presented the honor guest with boxes of French Powder and the high score prize, hand paint ed book ends, went to Miss Marie V.'alker.
