APPLE WEEK
IS OBSERVED
Apple Man Says That Geor
gia Apples Are National
ly Known
ATLANTA, Ga., Nov, 5.—-Anent
the observance of “national apple
week,” the apple growing industry
is destined to become one of the
most important horticultural activi
ties in Georgia.
It is worthy of note, as pointed
out here today by C. R. Porter,
Rome, Ga., capitalist, who has large
orchards at Esom Hill, Ga., in Haral
son and Polk counties, that the Geor
gia apple belt, which is rapidly be
coming nationally famous, as is her
peach belt, is the most southern com
mercial apple growing area between
V irginia and the equator.
When a western appl e comes to
Atlanta it accumulates freight
charges every mile for some 3,000
long miles. It reaches this city
staggering under a burden of freight
charges that must be passed along
until eventually paid by the man who
eats it. When a Georgia apple
comes to Atlanta it comes but a
short distance.
It is a popular belief in theatrical
circles that a poor dress rehearsal
will result in a better researsal.

COUGH OR COLD
THAT JIANGS ON
Persistent coughs and colds lead to
serious trouble. You can stop them
now with Creomulsion, an emulsified
creosote that is pleasant to take. Creo
mulsion is a new medical discovery
with two-fold action; it soothes and
herd* the inflamed membranes and in
hibits germ growth.
Os all known drugs, creosote is rec
ognized by high medical authorities as
’ 1 one of the greatest healing agencies for
persistent coughs and colds and other
forms of throat troubles. Creomulsion
contains, in addition to creosote, other
healing elements which soothe and heal
the infected membranes and stop the
irritation and inflammation, while the
creosote goes on to the stomach, is ab
sorbed into the blood, attacks the seat
of the trouble and checks the growth
of the germs.
Creomulsion is guaranteed satisfac
tory in the treatment of persistent
coughs and colds, bronchial asthma,
bronchitis and other forms of respira
tory diseases, and is excellent for build
ing up the system after colds or flu.
Money refunded if any cough or cold is
not relieved rfter taking according to
directions. Ask your druggist. Creo
