Aunt Martha Ailed is in quite feeble health on Pea Ridge. Dr. E. E. Darden lias been quite sick with his same old complaint. ^ Sacred Heart Seminary closed last Mon¬ day with interesting exercises. Mrs. Rauson Jackson has returned home but not much better off in health. MissM. L. Bagby visited Miss Deck worths last Saturday and Sunday. People generally' claim it is hot weather and we believe they are correct. Mr. L. S Jackson has had his dinning room and kitchen guttered with tin. Mrs. Susie Brown from Atlanta was visiting in our community last week. Mr. and Mrs. Bose Stewart, of Pea Ridge, lost their little linbe last week. Mr. VV. H. Bagby and family visited Mr. II. T. Beckworths family recently. Watermelons and roasting ears are late this year. None in our market as yet. Mr. A. I). Moore has been sick the past week notable to be up part of the time. Our lazy club has been a failure so far this season in Sharon which is a blessing. Mrs. Carrie Gregory, visited us last week Her litrle son Hiram is quite sick. Charlie Caldwell and Elisha Moore made a business trip to Washington last week. Mr. Ed. Several visitors at Hotel Jackson, the passed week, attending the closing exer¬ cises of the Sacred Heart Seminary. Mr. R. H. Jackson has been doing some carpenter work for Mrs. Joe Brooks also fame paint work for Mrs. Emmett Dai* den. Mr. Jack Harris, of Warren, was in our town last week. Mr. Hurris is one of Warren’s best citizens and a sucessftil far¬ mer. A large meteor shot through one night last week and caused some of the people to get excited. It run from East to West. Mrs. Tommy Taylor is quite sick. She has been in bad health for sometime. She also has a little boy that is in a bad con¬ dition. Our people have made up money and other necessary tilings needed for Mrs. (Love Meadows who was burned out not long ago. Mr. Silas Meadows, of near Woodstock, was visiting Mr. John Shields’ family last Saturday aud Sunday. Mr. Meadows it 80 years old. We saw Mr. T. E. Kendrick hoeing cot¬ ton last week. Bro. Tom will have to be careful about such as that or he wilt lose ids reputation. Mr, A. D. Moore sells one liorso '• wagons about as fast as he gets them , made.
