report to the Grand Jury for the August
term of court for 1898
Koaili*.
Continued rain# since July 1st and
C ra * & y ttoudHion of crops since that time
have prevented in some degree the work*
j U g 0 f roads in the County. We feel safe,
however in saying, that as *9011 as fodder
ptilliing has been completed that the roads
will be well worked:
It was the l ut cut ion of the Board in the
ai)riuj£ to i JC o| U t | l0 W ork of replacing the
plank crossings on public road* with cul
f«rt pipe, but in view of the fact that the
County Msewment for 1897 was loo small
to warrant the expenditure; it was thought
best to postpone the work for awhile.
Several bad rock* in the roads have been
removed dutlng the year, the work ha*
been well done and the cost for same we
think reasonable.
