The Road has bought a small strip of land on the extension for that purpose. Almost Made Mew. Mi. John H. Stephens tells us that he will haye the Reid drug storeroom handsomely repainted and fixed up in superb style ready for occupancy by the Owl Drug Store op Oct 1st. A Military Company. There is a movement on foot to organize a military company for Taliaferro county. We are informed that the application has been sent to the state; General and it may not be ong before the boys here will be practicing the tactics of not to go to the Philippines but for fun and caution incase of any needed home protection.
