Our people have commenced sowing their small grain crops. Mrs. Minnie Allen was on the sick list last week but has recovered. Mr. Lon Gilbert was on the sick list last week but is allright again. Good milch cows are in good demand in this section, and fat beef cattle too. Airs. Bettie Brown was in town last week visiting friends and relatives. Swindling in weights and measure now days is great and over courts should put people on notice of guch practice. Mr. Boykin Wright, who has been in Mi.J. A. Kendrick’s employ for some time past, is now attending Sharon High School. Cotton seed brought a good priae last week in Sharon but a groat many would not sell. They are always ready if you want to sell or buv. We see people have got cotton in the patch and are hiring it picked and they are walking about doing nothing. Mr. Rabe Jones has just returned from Emanuel county. He says he does not like that country at all but there is some good fanning land there.
