Disparaging signs are a
disgrace in our community
The Committee to Elect
Chip Hardin has become
aware of yard signs using
profanity and disparaging Chip’s
opponent, Jaye Jones, in the
Superior Court Judge race.
Our Committee, Chip and our
supporters are not affiliated with
this smear campaign in any
way, and we admonish those
individuals who felt compelled
to take such action. We have
notified the Sheriff’s department
in all the counties where the
signs have been sighted. If
you see a sign such as this,
we encourage you to reach out
to your local county Sheriff’s
office and report it immediately
so that the perpetrators may be
intercepted. We cannot as a
committee legally remove these
signs. We do feel a sense of
urgency to remove these signs
as we do not condone the
language and sentiment.
