Dear Friends,
Forgetting God is letting the
truth of God fade by ignoring
Him. In the end, such neglect is
unbelief, refusing to believe in
God and refusing to believe His
word. The safe caring place, the
refuge from storms, is forgotten.
God becomes like a friend
whom you never visit anymore
or think much about and finally
do not remember at all. This
slippery slope takes us far from
the rock of our refuge, the God
of our salavation.
Remember to turn to God for
help, for in Him there is rescue,
refuge, and peace.
Dear Dad,
It’s been ten years since
you went to be with the Lord.
Thank you for all that you taught
us. We know that your guiding
hand is on our shoulders and
you will remain with us forever.
You touched the hearts of many
and left behind a legacy of faith,
strength, love and kindness.
We are proud and appreciate
how dedicated you served your
country as a Chief for the US
Navy.
Continue to Rest in Heaven
for Peace is Thine and Sweet
Remembrance is Ours.
We Love and Miss You,
Edwin Jr, Pamela, Patricia,
and Veronica

Donna Taylor was out of town for 9 days in Virginia visiting her
grandson, Jackson Christensen. His parents, Julie and Erik, were
in Colorado for a week for a wedding and lots of fun adventures-
train ride around Pike’s Peak, hiking Pike’s Peak, jeep tour of some
canyons and lots of other fun stuff, along with great food at local
joints. Jackson was working part of the time, so when he wasn’t,
they ventured out for fun.
Emily West was treated to her
last baby shower before sweet
little Maggie arrives very soon.
It was hosted by Elaine West,
Sally Adams and Sara Stamper.
Maggie is sure to be a Bulldawg
fan as indicated on the onesie.
William Smith recently
celebrated his birthday with
family and friends.
Lyda and Jack Eubanks wisely cooled off in a tub of water on
these very hot days.
Evian Jeffcoat and Gwen Marked
Gwen and Jeff Markert enjoyed family and friends during the July
4 holiday. This included, among others, 5 month old Ada and sweet
Harbor, two of her granddaughters.
