As to tlit* question of wages we can now pit Mr. Kelley, solid Pig Iron Kelley, against Mr., Blaine, which means honest judgment against idle assertion. Mr. Kelley has been making a tour through the iron regions of Alabama, and has been afforded every facility for investigation. He has made care- ul and exhaustive inquiry into subject and he reports the wages the same grade of labor quite equal to if not better than those of the north. Mr. Kelley is an entirely reliable authority, widely known and influential, and his report ought effectually to squelch the baseless winnings of Brother Blaine. Bead the list of appointments ii the Americas district and a few other appointments which Rev. J. T. Lowe has kindly furnished us. It will be seen that we lose Brother Lowe, which we regret; but extend a hearty welcome to Brother Adams.
