Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is located on 160 acres in northern Chero kee County and is home to approximately 40 young men in foster care. The Maintenance Techni cian duties include: Maintain and repair resi dential facilities and office facilities on GVBR. Maintain vehicles and farm equipment upkeep and repair as assigned. Assists with repairs and maintenance of the build ings and facilities of GVBR including but not limited to; drywall, plumb ing, painting, appliance repair, carpentry, and fix ture installation. Assists with maintaining the landscape of GVBR, including but not limited to; mowing, trimming, pond maintenance, tree removal, and fence repair. Assists Facilities Director in administration and function of GVBR facilities as needed. Maintain lawns and pas tures as needed. Maintain general care of livestock and horses as needed. Other duties as assigned. Salary is $20/hr and ben efits include medical, den tal, vision, life insurance, a $50 cell phone stipend, 401k, and a flexible work schedule. Requirements The Maintenance Techni cian will need to meet: Minimum of High School diploma or GED. Two or more years of ex perience in general facili ties operations, including general maintenance and repair, lawn care experi ence, and general work ing knowledge of livestock preferred. Must be able to pass a drug and background screen, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable by GVF insur ance carrier. Must be able to demon strate the ability to pro vide moral, ethical, and spiritual leadership that coincides with the pro gram and policies of GVF.
