"Welcome to Jasper and the Optimist Flapjack
Run," stated Parish Lowrie as he addressed the 140
runners plus workers and family members as they
gathered for the morning run and breakfast." He
thanked the runners and sponsors informing the
runners "all proceeds are used to help children and
youth in the community." The Jasper Optimist Club
meets on the first Thursdays of the month at 7 a.m.,
and third Thursdays at noon at 61 Main restaurant.
