Mama Loretta's Chocolate Cake
Summer is near and many
will be going home to visit
family. We all have a favorite
dish Mom made from special
desserts to daily biscuits.
Sweet Loretta Brackett
loved making and sharing a
very simple chocolate pound
cake with homemade icing.
Watching my sugar wasn't
easy when that amazing cake
was sitting on the table. I
would grab a spoon and eat a
few spoons of icing that had
gathered in the middle of the
tube. YUM!!!
After the loss of this pre
cious lady her sweet daugh
ter Carrie Hillhouse carried
on the tradition. Begin your
own family tradition and
with friends and family. It
will soon be the cake every
one asked for.
My heart is filled with
amazing memories of a pre
cious smile and a hug as our
visits ended. Take the time to
leave a hug and a smile every
where you go. Sweet Loretta
will always be in our hearts.
Tune in to The Cherie
Show Monday through
Thursday 11 a.m., 5 p.m.
