Miss Ida KitchiDgs- who has been visiting ber brother, Prof. J. VY. Kitchings and friends in Alabama, returned to her home near Milner last Saturday. Messrs Henry Brittain of Atlanta and Charley Brittain of Macon, were in the city Sunday, the guests of their father and mtober, Dr. and Mrs. J. M. Brittain. Dr. M. A. Claik and Mr. M. M. Elliott own brand new bicyyles. l’hey received them a few days ago. The former gentleman has just learned tc ride but he will soon “burn the wind.” Col. Samuel B. Adams of Savan nah was in the city Sunday on a vis it to his son, Cadet Pratt Adams. He is one of the ablest lawyers in South Georgia and is a very promi nent citizen of Savannah. Mr. Walter W. Murphey, the well koown insurance man, now of Ma c n, vivited relatives and friends here this week. The Literary club held no meet ing Tuesday evening on account of the protracted meeting.
