this year than last. Several
farmers who did not partici
pate have told us they probab
ly would have realized a larg
er net return from the 1964 .

There are a number of old
wives’ tales kicking about, some
of which enjoy considerable ac

I MEETING
The Seminole County Sr.
Tri-Hi-Y held its monthly
meeting recently in the high
school auditorium with Kaye
Cannjngton presiding. The
program was given by Rev.
Roy Lewis who spoke to the
members on sportsmanship.
Afterwards the regular ritual
was followed.
Rose Dutton, community
projects' chairman, reported
that this month’s project was
to sponsor homecoming
dance. v

Airman Benny H. Hayes,
Jakin, Ga., has completed the
first phase of his Air Force
basic military training at
Lackland AFB, Texas-
Airman Hayes has been
transferred to Keesler AFB,
Mississippi, for training in
the field of radio and radar.
Benny is a 1964 graduate
of Seminole County High
School.
