Yes, Mr. Till, yon hit the key note of'the eitation —a blessing to the formers of Montgomery coun ty —when you mentioned the ] county fair for next November. Yes, I say let us have a county < fair in November. I cannot think of anything that will build up and improve the present met hod of i farming quicker or safer than to i have a county fair among us where ; we can all go and see for ourselves, i We iie farmers do not take the i interest in farmers and stock raising.that we should, and not many of us really know what can be done in farming and stock raising, until they try. A comity: fair wo,lild bring the farmers to gether and let them see for them selves yvhnt can bo done here, and j at the game time give t he farmers (• of the .adjoining counties an op portunity of joining ns. Let us; have a-clean thing of it —no gam bling,.horse racing or speculation j —just have a county fair for the real good that will come to our people-by letting them see what can be done by a little effort. Lot j no man pocket any gain in this fair except by improvement in home management. Yours, Jno. \V. Green, Sr. Glonwood, Route 1. SEWARD. Special Correspondence.
