Little Milton Walker is still out
of school, being on the sick list.
We were glad to see Hoke and
Myrtice Garrett back in school
after a few days absence.
The pupils of the Second Grade
are showing much interest in
their work.
We have a new addition to our
school library in which all the
grades are interested. Our li
brary now has about one hun
dred and fifty books. Miss Es
tell Still, a student of last term,
and librarian made the last selec
tion of our books, which are fine.
Miss Gladys Jones has return
ed to school after having the sore
eyes.
Miss Beatrice Burch of Jack
sonville, Ga., who is attending
school at the 8.-P. I. visited the
Misses Way Sunday and Monday.
Miss Uaine Tyler of Millen who
is attending school at the 8.-P.
1., visited the Misses Way one
day last week.
Miss Gladys Jones visited Yi
dalia one day last week.
Messrs. Otis Rackley and Har
ry Geiger of Mt. Vernon made a
flying trip to Sharpe Spur Sun
day.

The wedding of Miss Oppie
Lee Fuqua of Ailey and Mr. Jus.
R. Kitcheh of Savannah was
solemnized in Ailey yesterday
afternoon, and a more extended
account of it will be given in
next issue.
