The party was not large, but the occasion was none the less enjoyable. After swearing off several times, the local baseball, players are scheduled for another game, which will be played with the soldier boys, on the 8.-P. I. campus this (Thursday) after noon. The game will be called at 3:30, and the boys urge a full at tendance. Admission 15 and 25 cents. The ladies will be ad mitted free. Milieu his certain one seventh undivided interest in one hundred and eighty acres of land in the 12215 t. G. M. district Montgomery county, Ga., being known as the old J. J. Miller place, and bounded as follows: On the cast by Andrew Barber, on the south by lands of G. L. Miller, on the west by Messrs Creek and on the north by Messrs Creek. For the purpose of securing the payment of a note made by the said G. M. Miller to the said C. M. Tripp due on the Ist day of October. 1916, for the sum of Two hundred am! fifty Dollars, Two hundred and six dollars of which sum is now due and unpaid. It is ordered that the said G. M. Miller do pay into this court by the first day of the next term the principal, interest, and costs due on said note, or show cause, if any he has to the contrary, or that in default thereof foreclosure be granted to the said C. M. Tripp, of said mortgage, and the equity of redemption of said G. M. Miller therein he forever barred, and thal service of this rule l>e perfected unpaid G. M. Miller according to law. Louisville, Ga., April 30.—P. W. Overstreet succumbed to ai> attack of hydrophobia at 8 o'clock this morning at his home, eleven miles south of here after three days of suffering, so intense at times that he begged to be killed. He was 62 years old and for years had been prominently iden tified with county affairs. He was a consistent member of Cole man’s Chapel Methodist Church from which place his funeral will occur tomorrow at 10 o’clock. He is survived by his widow, two daughters and two sons, S. W., trainmaster of the Wadley South ern Railway, and J. W., owner and manager of the Overstreet Furniture Company at Wadley. Administrator’s Sale. Georgia—Montgomery County.
