Ga.. Thursday Morning, May 6, 1920. Notice of New Road. Georgia—Montgomery County. To all Whom it May Concern 1 : Take notice that J. A. Hughes, J. B. Robertson, M. A. Peterson, W. O. Sharpe, C. W. Peterson, John McDongald, T. G. Peterson and others have applied for an ord<*r seeking the establishment of a new road, which has been laid out and marked conformably to law by commissioners duly aft pointed, and a report thereof made on oath by them, said road commencing (governed try the old road bed) at or near the home of M. A. Peterson, on the public road leading from Mt. Vernon to Alston and running in a north easterly direction through the lands of M. A., C. W. and T. G. Peterson, John McDougald and Mrs. Mary Meeks, and connecting with the Sharpe Spur and Vidalia road, the same being a distance of one Sind a-half miles more or less. Now, if no good cause be shown to the contrary, by persons inter ested in the matter, the order will be granted by the Hoard oj Commissioners of Hoads and Rev enues of said county on the Ist day of June, 11)20, establishing said proposed new road. Peiilhdiers desire the right to sue and lie sued, to plead and be im pleaded, to have and use a common seal; to make all rules and by-laws and regulations necessary for the , carrying on of said business includ ing the right to buy, hold and sell real estate or personal property* and to do all things necessary for the pur poses of the incorporation; to execute notes and bonds, and any and all tilings and evidence of indebtedness Incurred in the conduct of the affairs of said corporation and to secure any 1 debt or liability by mortgages, se curity deeds or other form of liens under exist ing laws. 7. They desire for said incorpora tion the power and authority to ap ply for and accept amendments to its chat ter In either form or substance by a vote of a majority of its stock holders at tlie time. They also ask authority for said corporation to wind up its affairs, liquidate and discontinue its business at any time it may dwterinine to do so by a vote of two thirds of its stock outstanding at tlie time. They desire for said corporation to renew, or tlie right to renew when and as provided by the laws of Georgia, and that it have all such other rights, powers, privileges and immunities as are incident to like incorporations or are perniissable under the laws of Georgia. Wherefore petitioners pray to be incorporated under tlie name and style of the Mt. Vernon Hotel Com pany as aforesaid with the powers, privileges and immunities herein set forth, and as are now or may here after be, allowed a corporation of similar character under the laws of Georgia.
