Hear Creek News.

Mr. K. Ladson and daughter,
Louise, Mr. Colon Ladson and ,
family, Mrs. Byanca Collins and
two sons. Fletcher and little
Sikes, Miss Eva Warnock, Mr.
W. P. Moore and little Frank
Warnock have returned from
Moultrie and Autreyville, Ga..
where they spent several days
with relatives and friends. They
report a very nice time. They
enjoyed a barbecue the 3rd that
was given by Messrs. G. M. and
J. E. and W. B. Ladson and Mr.
and Mrs. W. B. Connell. There
was about three thousand pres
ent. Plenty of dinner and cold
lemonade.
Then Messrs. W'. B. and C. F.
Ladson, W. P. Moore, F. M.
Barrington and Mrs. Byanca Col
lins and brother and sister gave
a barbecue the loth at the old
Ladson home place, now owned
by Mr. 1. L. Ladson and daugh
ter, Mrs. Byanca Collins. The
dinner was enjoyed very much!
by all who attended. There was
plenty of dinner for all. There
was about two hundred that at
tended. Hurrah for*the Ladson
barbecues. They believe in hav
ing something to eat.
Mr. Ladson and sons and
daughters will leave for their
homes in Colquitt county the 11th.
Mr. B. Ladson of Dublin left this
morning.
Miss Eva Warnock will return
to her home in Towns Sunday*
after a two month’s visit to Col
quitt county and Bear Creek.
We regret very much to hear
of Mr. B. Ladson's little daugh
ter, Lekue, being taken to the
Dublin hospital for an operation
yesterday morning. Hope she
will soqn be out.

Mrs. J. P. Cooper was the
guest of Mrs. G. E. West Sunday
evening.
Mr. Willie Braddy and family I
and Mr. Andrew Moxley and
family and Mr. 0. B. Braddy and
family were the guests of Mrs.
H. A. Braddy Sunday.
Mrs. Lummie Collins and little
daughter were the guests of Mrs.
C. H. Collins Sunday.
