Naturally they were ac companied by George, Jr. Miss Nan Bird of Bellville spent part of the past week with the family of Mrs. W. ('. Mcßae. Mrs. Mcßae and daughter, Miss Dorcas Mcßae, accompanied her home for a brief visit. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Hughes of Lakeland, Fla., are visiting rela tives in Mt. Vernon. They drove through in a car, and made the I trip very pleasantly. They are 1 former citizens of Mt. Vernon and friends are pleased to greet them again.
